Face Mask Update
Important Update for Clients and Visitors
Face Mask Update – Clients and Visitors (2222 Lakeshore Rd W)
Beginning Thursday June 15, 2023, OSCR will be moving towards a mask friendly facility.
Clients and visitors will have the choice of wearing or not wearing a face mask (optional).
Staff, and volunteers will continue to wear a face mask when providing direct care, including visits within client’s environment.
We kindly ask for your continued kindness, support, and respect for those choosing to wear or not wear a face mask.
- Self-screening of all clients and visitors continues
o Please answer all screening questions honestly and read posted signage carefully located at the front entrance and throughout the building.
o Unwell visitors are not to visit.
o Face mask dispenser is available at the front lobbing for those who prefer to wear a mask.
o Clean hands often using hand sanitizer.
- Self-monitor for symptoms and stay home when ill for clients
o Please report any possible signs and symptoms as quickly as possible and stay home if you are feeling unwell.
o Staff will continue to complete a wellness screening assessment upon every client visit.
- Keep up to date with your COVID vaccinations
o Receiving all doses for which you are eligible is a safe and effective way to significantly decrease the risk of severe negative outcomes.
OSCR will continue to remain vigilant in our efforts of keeping everyone safe and will follow Public Health Ontario guidelines and safety protocols.
